This project of the Canaan Baptist Church in New Castle, DE, was an honor. The color of choice was Owens Corning’s stunning Onyx Black color, one of Owens Corning’s Tri-definition designer laminated shingles. As we do for all our roofing projects, we ensure we use all of Owens Corning High-Quality system of components and layers so that it will last for decades. We believe roofs should have the necessary details to seal, defend and breathe from the everyday and nasty weather mother nature throws at us. To close, we use Owens Corning Weatherlock ice water barrier for long-lasting protection and curb appeal, and to breathe, we use all Owens Corning exhaust ventilation methods. Using Owens Corning ventilation exhaust product is proven roofs will last many decades.

What a fabulous day in Overview Gardens on Briarcliff Dr. in New Castle, DE. A beautiful corner house property had suffered wind damage due to recent storms. As we started tearing off the roof, we noticed two layers of shingles and two layers of rolled roofing on the flat roof portion. During our task of tearing off, we saw lots of bad sheathing. Our first step to a total roof replacement is checking all wood on the roof. We had to replace forty-five sheets of plywood because it was warped, wet, or rotted. That was almost the entire roof sheathing. After replacing all the lousy sheathing, we were ready to start the Owens Corning total roof protection procedure. The procedure consists of sealing the with ice and water barriers and synthetic underlayments as we install all new drip edges and flashing. We want to defend the roof from everyday elements by installing Owens Corning starter shingles and their prestigious duration designer laminated shingles. The color of choice was the stunning Pacific Wave. Last, we focus on proper ventilation to give the roof the best way to breathe. So we installed Owens Corning’s venture ridge vent with its cap shingles on top to allow the roof to breathe correctly by keeping the hot air and moisture out of the attic and the roof from premature aging caused by water in the winter and excess heat in the summer. The job turned out superb.

This project of the Monday Club in New Castle, DE, was an honor since founded in 1876, to its legacy as one of the nation’s oldest social organizations for black men. Ensuring no club meetings were interrupted, we got right on the job with our superb A-Team. From the beginning tear-off to completion, it took us two days. The roof had a few layers of older shingles and underlayment, so there was much debris. We made sure the historic building, along with the landscaping, was well protected. The color of choice was Owens Corning’s stunning brown wood color, one of Owens Corning’s Tri-definition designer laminated shingles. As we do for all our roofing projects, we ensure we use all of Owens Corning High-Quality system of components and layers so that it will last for decades. Putting a new roof on St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church was a wonderful experience and opportunity; replacing the older roof of the prestigious St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Bear, DE, was challenging. Since the church held services throughout the week, in the roof replacement process, we ensured the church was covered for a short time but done with top-notch professional craftsmanship. It took our A-Team of 9 techs just four days to complete this masterpiece. We made sure the church and landscaping were well protected with tarps, and we were ready for work.
All materials used were Owens Corning’s High-quality System of components and layers, leading up to a total protection roofing system that will last many years. The color chosen by the congregation was the magnificent Black Sable, one of Owens Corning Tru-Definition Designer Laminated shingles; the church roof turned out so superb that we did the pastor’s house also on the premises.
